Students were assigned groups. Each group was asked to discover what white balance is. Then the group determined how to set the white balance on classroom DSLR's and finally they learned how to create a custom white balance setting. Armed with that knowledge and classroom DSLR's they made examples that demonstrate the various white balance settings. Students then created a educational slide show and shared their findings and examples with the group. The main learning outcomes; recognition of white balance problems, how to correct those problems in the camera, develop awareness of white balance settings, Work in collaborative groups.
